This policy explains what FileAFriend collects and how it's used.
Your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account; the cases you create (respondent name, the described behavior, and the generated text); basic usage analytics; and a login cookie. Payments are processed by Stripe, we never see or store your full card details.
To provide the service and your case library, process token purchases, keep the service secure, and prevent abuse. We use an AI provider to generate case text from what you type.
Only service providers that run the product, such as our hosting provider, Stripe for payments, and our AI provider for text generation, plus where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
You can delete any case you create using its management link. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at [contact email — to be completed]. Case pages are unlisted and set to not be indexed by search engines.
FileAFriend is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We use reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here.
